Before energy efficiency measures implementation, the 55% of the operating contribution dedicated from the city to schools represented expenditures to energy costs. Thanks to this project, the schools will have more funds left over for their own development in following years.

Thanks to the EPC project, we managed to reduce the long-term costs for heating, warm water production, electricity consumption and drinking water consumption in 31 kindergartens and primary schools. We recommend this energy performance contracting of modernisation energy facilities to all other interested parties.

Modernisation of the National Theatre energy systems and facilities, which took place in 2007, enabled a reduction in energy by more than 50 percent. The aim was not only to replace obsolete technology, but also to gain maximum savings from the modernisation by linking and tuning the whole technological system.

Energy Efficiency measures developed in collaboration with ENESA a.s. have helped us to utilise the technological waste heat for heating and production of cold.
