In 2017, the town of Mnichovo Hradiště decided to invest in the modernization of its energy management and thus save almost CZK 1.5 million a year on operating costs in 13 town buildings. The office buildings, primary and kindergarten schools, sports hall, cinema, and nursing homes were modernized.
ENESA designed and implemented the installation of new condensing boilers, replacement of the original radiator taps with thermostatic valves, modernization of lighting by replacing it with energy-saving LED sources, and water-saving measures. As a result, the city will significantly reduce its consumption of heat, gas, and electricity, as well as water, with annual savings of more than 1,000 m3.
The energy savings are equivalent to 201.2 tonnes of CO2 per year.
